The Wego plugin is search-only. It summarizes live prices and links you out to Wego to complete the trip. Inside ChatGPT, it cannot:
- Complete bookings or reservations
- Process payments
- Access your Wego or airline account
- Manage existing trips or itineraries

Setup

- Setup steps
- Open ChatGPT and go to the app directory.
- Find Wego and select Add.
- Follow the connection steps shown in ChatGPT.
- Start asking travel questions in chat.
Authentication
You don’t need to sign in to search. The Wego plugin serves free, public travel data, so there’s no Wego account or API key to set up.
Data shared with Wego
ChatGPT sends only the information needed to run the search, such as:
- Destination or route
- Travel dates
- Number of travelers
- Selected filters (cabin, stops, rating, amenities, price)
Wego does not receive your ChatGPT chat history and does not require a Wego account for search.
Data source
Flight and hotel results come directly from the Wego travel API, which aggregates live inventory from hundreds of airlines and booking sites.
Availability & pricing
Flight and hotel availability and prices can change quickly. What you see in ChatGPT reflects the latest data from the moment you searched. Always confirm the final price and availability on Wego before booking.
